PRAYER CONCERNS

Ruth Jeffers (Tina Hayes’ mother) is doing well after suffering a stroke.  Nancy Miller  has bronchitis.     Ken & Carol Frye are both home sick with the flu.

MID-WEEK DEVOTIONALS

The mid-week bible study and devotional this week will be on Thursday (Jan 2nd). Happy New Year!

SYMPATHY

We extend our sympathy to Nancy Miller and her family at the death of her sister, Ruth Ann Miller who passed away Dec. 25 after an 8 year battle with Parkinson’s.  Viewing hours are Sunday 2-5; Memorial Service will be 11:00, Monday at  Hartville church of Christ.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

There will be a brief congregational meeting next Sunday following the evening’s services, during which the budget for 2014 will be presented.

YOUTH LED WORSHIP

Please make plans to be with us for worship this evening. Our young men will be leading us. This is a great opportunity for their growth and for ours. Let’s support them as we worship together.

WINTERFEST

The teens will be headed to Gatlinburg, TN for Winterfest, February 14-16. All teens in grade 7 and up are encouraged to come. We will need chaperones as well. The deadline to register with Brad is Jan 5th.

NOVEMBER BUDGET

There are copies of the  November budget report in the rack by the main door.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

   All the men and boys are invited to the monthly breakfast at Eat ‘N Park this coming Saturday at 8:30 a.m.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHP

Next Sunday night, we will have our monthly fellowship dinner to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in January . Care Group C is in charge of the set-up and clean-up.

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY

     We are all facing a fierce opponent who is after our souls.  We must strengthen ourselves in the power that the Lord supplies so that on the evil day we may be able to stand strong.  This lesson will teach us how.

Next week’s lesson by Phil Sanders is, “Stand Strong”.  The program can be seen locally every Sunday, 7:30a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
