PRAYER CONCERNS

Hannah Baker’s foot is not healing as well as hoped, and will need to stay in the boot for a least another three weeks. Nancy Hendershot (Kay’s friend) will be having an MRI on Oct. 22nd to check if the chemo has worked on the brain cancer. Her doctor’s appt. last Wednesday did not find any more cancer cells in her eye. Donnie & Austin Lehman, who have been worshiping with us for a while, have been moved to Bridgeport, WV. Peggy Newell, friend of Darlene Baker is in Wheeling Medical Hosp. with several complications requiring surgery. Pat Pendergrass (Sue Wirshing’s friend) underwent additional surgery this past Monday.

Please continue your prayers for those for whom prayer has been requested: Gavyn Adams-Helms, Hannah Baker (foot), Jim Bass, George Bartlett (Charlotte Patton’s brother-in-law), Charles Boger, Jim Bowers, Bob Digiandomenico, Paul Dangel (friend of Mary Clark, Darin Clark’s mom), Kyle Hope (leg braces), Kevin Kalany, Liam Manning, Bob Munas (Vera Perry’s neighbor) &  Jimmy Thrash.

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

Following evening worship on Sunday, October 26th (next week!), we will be having a Trunk-or-Treat in the parking lot. We would like to encourage everyone to participate (both children and adults). After worship, the children will dress up in the costumes while the adults decorate their trunks and pass out candy. Then following trunk-or-treating we will have finger foods in the fellowship hall, so please bring a dish as well. (Please nothing too scary or gory.)

We specifically need adults who are willing to decorate the trunk of their car and pass out candy. Please see Darla Gill to sign up.

This is a great time to invite others to worship and fellowship with us.
