PRAYER CONCERNS

Hines Ford, a first grade student in Lean Hannahs’ classroom suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns last week. He was in the Children’s Hospital Unit in Columbus, but is now home. David Pyle, Chris Davis’ uncle has a mass on his liver. He is awaiting results from a biopsy. Pat Rice is slowing improving but is still in need of our prayers. Jimmy Thrash’s surgery last week went well.

Please continue your prayers for those for whom prayer has been requested: Jim Bass, Mason Bittinger (Jennifer Wheeler’s new grandson), & his parents Stephanie and Rob Bittinger, Justin Burchett (Rebecca Burchett [Charlotte Patton’s granddaughter]), Bob Digiandomenco, Janie Judge (Jamie’s mom), Leslie Judge, Kevin Kalany, Ashley Sands (Amanda Schrum’s sister, pregnancy), Nancy Stonebraker (Kathy Green’s mom) & Eva Wirsing (Sue’s mother-in-law).

 COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES

We are collecting items for college student care packages. You can place items by the youth minister’s office. The deadline is next Sunday, March 29th.

TABITHA’S STOREHOUSE

Today (March 22nd) is the last day to bring in items for Tabitha’s Storehouse.

  • Items for babies and nursing mothers, such as diapers, diaper cream, wipes, tear-free shampoo and soap, q-tips, baby lotion, baby oil and baby powder.
  • Items for personal hygiene, such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, dental floss, shampoo, conditioner, sanitary napkins, soap, lotion, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, triple antibiotic cream & band-aids.
  • Household items, such as toilet paper, trash bags, foil, paper towels, etc.

(Please no bulk packaged items).

LADIES BIBLE CLASS

The ladies class will be starting a new book study on March 31st.

SCRIPTURE OF THE MONTH

Don’t forget we’ve been challenged to memorize Ephesians 3.20-21 together for the month of March.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (NIV)

BULLETIN BOARD

There are several flyers advertising events from other area congregations on the bulletin board by the water fountain in the lobby. Be sure to take a look to see what’s posted.

FIFTH SUNDAY

Next Sunday is a fifth Sunday, which means our contribution will go toward the new building project.

BIBLE CLASSES

On Sunday mornings at 9am and Wednesday nights at 7pm we have Bible classes for adults and children of all ages. These classes are a great opportunity for you and your family to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God’s word. We hope you’ll join us!

JUNIOR YOUTH RALLY

The Grand Central Church in Vienna, WV is planning a junior youth rally for 3rd—6th grades on April 25th. Info on the bulletin board.

GOD’S GIRLS & COLLECTION

The God’s Girls youth rally for girls 6th grade through college will be April 18th. There is a collection box near Brad’s office for the God’s Girls service project They need 80 sample or travel size bottles of lotion. See Amy Games with questions.
