 PRAYER CONCERNS

As the bulletin was being printed, Ethel Kent was doing very well after having a temporary pacemaker put in last Monday.  She will have a permanent one installed at a future date after her move to Virginia.      Mike Tribbie continues to experience considerable pain following the amputation of his leg.  He remains in the Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center  where he is undergoing kidney dialysis and physical therapy.

Ray Ramsay is at home where he continues to improve.  Peggy Spielvogel will soon be going to Morgantown for a procedure to help relieve the pain in her back.  Leonard Bearup has had strep throat the past few days.

Please continue praying for those for whom our prayers have been requested recently…Louis Bain (Kate’s husband), Evelyn Barker, Alice Shunk (Leonard Bearup’s mother), Denise Crawford, Ben Hendershot (Kay Sowinski’s cousin), Craig Herwick, Harold Hudson, Kevin Kalany, Bill Kopyar,  Leslie Kutchel (Amanda Schrum’s aunt), Becky McCoy (Pat Rice’s daughter), Charlotte Mason (Mae Deller’s daughter), Bill Miller, Matt Randolph, Kay Sowinski, Brenda Stillion (Angel Baker’s cousin and Karen Barbe’s sister), Alexis Thornberry, Pam Tribbie, Tammy White (Tina Hayes’ sister), Jim Yeager (Rich Daley’s cousin) and Joy Yontz.

It was so good to have Shelli Glasgow back with us last Sunday morning as she continues to recover from her recent back surgery.

OUR EXPECTANT PARENTS

Please continue to pray for our expectant mothers…Leslie Huffman (a boy in February), Ashley McKeen (a girl in March), Terra Blacker (a boy in April)  and Carrie Lucas (April).

We congratulate Amy & Ryan Higgins on the news that they are expecting their first child next May.

OUR SHUT-INS

Those of our church family who are no longer able to worship with us regularly need our continued support…Bill & Sue Daley, Mae Deller, Wilda Freeland, Lenny Hungerman, Dorothy Kimble, Virginia Orrison (Forest Hills), Joyce Orzolek, Leon & June Smith, Ed & Bea Stelmach, Vonda Swisher, Jim Thrash, Marlene Trisoline, Joanne Wallner and  Bill White.

If you haven’t sent them a card or visited them recently, why not do so this week to encourage them.

SERVING IN THE MILITARY

Let’s pray for our military personnel and their families … Nathan Rodak (Bill & Joan’s grandson), Kristen Roy (Pearl Roy’s granddaughter) and Joey Stenger (Joe & Karen’s son, Afghanistan).

COMMUNION SIGN-UP LIST FOR 2012

We now have families to prepare the Lord’s Supper for all the months of 2012.  We appreciate all those who have volunteered to help.

MISSIONAL ENGAGEMENT GROUP

Listen to the announcements today as to the time and location of this week’s meeting of The Missional Engagement Group.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

Due to the “WV Super-Six Football Championship” being played in the area next weekend, our monthly Men’s Breakfast at Eat ’N Park  will be postponed until Saturday, Dec. 11.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP

Following next Sunday evening’s worship service, we will meet in the MP Room for some informal fellowship as we honor those with birthdays and wedding anniversaries in December as well as our newlyweds, Sam & Sarah Miller.  Care Group B will be in charge of the fellowship and Care Group A will be in charge of honoring our newlyweds.

HONORING OUR NEWLYWEDS

To honor the recent marriage of Sam & Sarah Miller, we will be giving them a Money-Tree during next Sunday evening’s fellowship.  If you would like to donate some cash, please give it to Gail Bigler, Amy Games or Everett Hutson by this coming Wednesday.

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY

In a day with so many uncertainties, it’s comforting to know there are some things you never have to worry about.  In next week’s presentation, “No Need To Worry,” the program’s regular speaker, Phil Sanders, will talk about some things we can count on!  No matter how much change we face, some things hold true.  And that gives us a tremendous degree of confidence. The nationally televised program can be seen locally every Sunday on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7, at 7:30 a.m.
