Michael Baldwin’s (who worships with us occasionally and is moving to the area) father is in the hospital in New Orleans recovering from a heart transplant. Evelyn Barker was in the hospital after a fall last week. Jim Bass  was diagnosed with Hypersthesia Chronic Pain Synodrome, which may be caused by his stroke. Charles Boger continues to recover from his lung surgery and recent complications. Stevie Dayton (from the Carrollton Church of Christ) fell off a roof and is in critical condition. Jamie Rohr, Christian Burghy’s  (John & Donna’s grandson) mother is in OSU Hospital with MS that is worsening.

We will gather for a fellowship meal after our evening worship time to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in April. Care group B will be in charge of set-up & clean-up.


Last Thursday, Jonathan, Danielle and Stephen Hostetler were all baptized into Christ. On Sunday night, Hannah Baker was baptized  as well. We celebrate with them as they begin their relationship with Jesus! Be sure to welcome them and pray for them!

The Summer Series teaching schedule is ready for sign-up. Brian Games ask that if you are one of the men willing to teach,  come and see him to choose your topic and date.


As the end of the school year approaches, we look forward to honoring our graduating seniors. If you or your children are graduating from high school, college, or technical school, please write it down and give it to Joyce or Brad.


All 3rd-6th graders are invited to participate in a Junior Youth Rally at the Grand Central Church in Vienna, WV. It will be held April 26th from 8:30am-3:30pm. More information is on the youth bulletin board in the back hallway across from the youth minister’s office.

Jena and Ben Frye are expecting their first child soon. If you would like to give money toward a gift card for them and their new baby, pleas give it to Joyce or Linda Gooch.


There will be an important VBS planning meeting on Sunday, April 27th at 4:30 in the multi-purpose room. All interested in helping with VBS are encourage to come.


Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). The Scriptures teach us how to love God the way He wishes to be loved and the need for keeping His commandments.

Next week’s lesson (April 13) by Phil Sanders is, “Love and Law”  The program can be seen locally every Sunday, 7:30a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
