PRAYER CONCERNS

Judah Blackwell (Brenda McCreary’s 3 year old nephew) will have major surgery April 21st at Columbus Children’s Hospital. He will be there for 6-7 days. Jerry Moore had laser surgery on his eye this past Thursday.

IN THE MILITARY

     Please continue to pray for those who are serving in the military…C.J. Arnold (Eddie’s brother, Afghanistan), Jason Harris (Bill & Pat Rice’s son-in-law), Chad Huggins,  Bill Randolph (Matt’s father), Nathan Rodak (Jay & Rhonda’s son, in California) and Joey Stenger (Joe & Karen’s son).

BAPTISM

We celebrate with Terry Fitch, who was baptized into a relationship with Jesus on Monday night. He and his wife, Shari live in St. Clairsville.  He will be in Care Group B. We welcome him to the family and mission here!

SYMPATHY

We extend our sympathy to Mary Donnna Wodarcyk and her family at the passing of her daughter-in-law, Judy Kinemond last Sunday.

PICTORAL DIRECTORIES

The directories are finished! Thanks so much for your patience, and thank you to all those who put in countless hours behind the scenes photographing, printing, sorting, cutting, and organizing. The new directory inserts are available on the table across from Brad’s office. If you need a binder, we have some available.

PANTRY ITEMS

We are beginning to collect pantry items  to donate to the  Potter’s Children Home. Items we will be collecting are individual bags of potato chips, bottled water, window cleaner, canned chicken, canned pineapple slices & crushed pineapple, 9 volt batteries, and yellow cake mixes. Mike Gaston is coordinating this effort. There will be a collection box in the back hallway.

GRADUATING SENIORS

As the end of the school year approaches, we look forward to honoring our graduating seniors. If you or your children are graduating from high school, college, or technical school, please write it down and give it to Joyce or Brad.

JUNIOR YOUTH RALLY

All 3rd-6th graders are invited to participate in a Junior Youth Rally at the Grand Central Church in Vienna, WV. It will be held April 26th from 8:30am-3:30pm. More information is on the youth bulletin board in the back hallway across from the youth minister’s office.

MONEY FOR DIAPERS

Jena and Ben Frye are expecting their first child soon. If you would like to give money toward a gift card for them and their new baby, pleas give it to Joyce or Linda Gooch.

VBS MEETING

There will be an important VBS planning meeting next Sunday, April 27th at 4:30 in the multi-purpose room. All interested in helping with VBS are encouraged to come.
