PRAYER CONCERNS

Charles Boger came home from the hospital last week. Continue to pray as he recovers. Nelson Gaston (Mike’s dad) was in the hospital with pneumonia but has been released. Please continue to pray for him and his wife Joann as they recover.  Stephen Hostetler has recovered from his virus. Patty Miller (Rose Voscavitch’s friend) was admitted to Whg. Medical Park in serious condition with fluid on her lungs. Donna Sterling (Darla Yazombek’s aunt) suffered a stroke, and is in the hospital. She and Darla’s uncle live in Yukon, OH. Both are faithful disciples.

IN THE MILITARY

     Please continue to pray for those who are serving in the military…C.J. Arnold (Eddie’s brother, Afghanistan), Jason Harris (Bill & Pat Rice’s son-in-law), Chad Huggins,  Bill Randolph (Matt’s father), Nathan Rodak (Jay & Rhonda’s son, in California) and Joey Stenger (Joe & Karen’s son).

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP POSTPONED

Due to the directory materials being put together in the MP room, we are postponing the fellowship meal to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in April. It will follow next week’s evening services (4.13). Care group B will be in charge.

 PRAYER LIST UPDATES

In order to help us best serve the congregation’s prayer needs, we keep requests for members on the list as long as necessary. Requests we receive for friends and extended family stay on the list for about three weeks, unless we receive an update. This is to ensure we are stay up-to-date. Thank you so much for your commitment to praying for others!

 SUMMER SERIES SIGN-UP

The Summer Series teaching schedule is ready for sign-up. Brian Games ask that if you are one of the men willing to teach,  come and see him to choose your topic and date (before he comes to find you with his cane!).

GRADUATING SENIORS

As the end of the school year approaches, we look forward to honoring our graduating seniors. If you or your children are graduating from high school, college, or technical school, please write it down and give it to Joyce or Brad.

JUNIOR YOUTH RALLY

All 3rd-6th graders are invited to participate in a Junior Youth Rally at the Grand Central Church of Christ in Vienna, WV. It will be held April 26th from 8:30am-3:30pm. More information is on the youth bulletin board in the back hallway across from the youth minister’s office.

MINISTRY OF ENCOURAGEMENT

Teams 3 & 4 will lead our ministry of encouragement for the next few weeks. Cards will be available Wednesday.

 MONEY FOR DIAPERS

Jena and Ben Frye are expecting their first child soon. If you would like to give money toward a gift card for them and their new baby, pleas give it to Joyce or Linda Gooch.

 BRAD POE SERIES RECORDINGS

The recordings of Brad Poe’s lessons from last week will be posted online at our website, at stcchurch.org/howaliveareyou. If you would like a CD, please write down your name and the lessons you would like and give it to Joyce.

BIBLE CLASSES

On Sunday mornings at 9am and Wednesday nights at 7pm we have Bible classes for adults and children of all ages. These classes are a great opportunity for you and your family to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God’s word. We hope you’ll join us!

IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY

Can you truthfully say you totally belong to the Lord? God doesn’t want part-time friends or people who are only fond of Him. God expects His people to be totally committed to Him and to His way.

Next week’s lesson (April 13) by Phil Sanders is, “Loving God Totally”  The program can be seen locally every Sunday, 7:30a.m. on WTRF-TV, Ch. 7.
