PRAYER CONCERNS

Harold Hudson is back in Carriage Inn and doing a little better. Janie Judge (Jamie’s mother) had surgery last week. The surgery went well and she is now home.  Tom Fath (Donna Hirauk’s neighbor) was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. He and his wife Kathy are in need of prayer. Please continue your prayers for those who need our continued prayers: Jim Bass, Bonnie Gosset (a coworker of Jenna Conway), Jane Hardy, Gavin Hope, Ira Gaston, Kevin Kalany, Patricia Massey, Riley Persinger, Pat Rice, Ashley Sands, Paul Tomer, Raymond Tyler, Jimmy Thrash & Sue Wirsing.

Jim Corder was baptized into a new relationship with Jesus last week. We celebrate with him, and look forward to journeying with him!

 

2015 GRADUATES

We would like to honor those graduating from high school and from college or technical school. Please write the names on a card along with the school’s name and give it to Joyce. If you have a wallet sized photo and a graduation announcement, we will need those for the bulletin board (to be returned to you). Those we have listed as graduating from high school are: Logan Cannon, Jonathan Hostetler, Julie Nowakowski & Quentin Clark. Those graduating from college are: Kyle Digiandomenico, Jessica Sowinski, Adam Sambuco, & Jacob Zink.

 

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

We will have a congregational meeting to discuss the building project after our worship gathering this evening.

 

ATTENDED NURSERY

We would like to begin an attended cradle roll class on Sunday morning during the worship service for ages 1-5. If you would like to volunteer to help on a rotating basis, see the shepherds.

 

MID OHIO VALLEY WORK CAMP

     Information for Work Camp for the teens is available. The dates are June 21st-26th. The deadline to register is May 13th. We are in need of female chaperones. See Brad with questions.

 

ELMER PARSONS YOUTH RETREAT

The Elmer Parsons Youth Retreat at Tomlinson Run State Park will be the weekend of May 15-17.

 

LADIES BIBLE CLASS

The ladies class will be meeting at 6:30 instead of 6:00. The class should conclude around 7:30.

 

COMMODIITY COLLECTION

From now until May 17 we will be collecting commodities for Potter Children’s Home. Items are: 30 gallon trash bags, spray & wash, bathroom tissue, bottled water, olive oil, chocolate pudding mix, and snack crackers.

WORLD BIBLE SCHOOL PRESENTATION

     The evening of May 17th, Rick Shur from the World Bible School will be speaking about their work around the world and about local outreach opportunities.
