PRAYER CONCERNS

Jeff Bigler is still fighting sinus problems, now with new medication. He has sinusitis, along with either pneumonia or bronchitis. Bonnie Gosset (a coworker of Jenna Conway), had a heart catheterization and stints inserted last week. Her mother was in a severe car accident the same day and passed away. Harold Hudson was taken to the Carriage Inn in Cadiz. They are waiting for a bed in 10 Lakes around Dennison where he can be evaluated and hopefully treated for some of the difficulties he’s had. Gavin Hope is recuperating after having surgery on his eyes. Pat Rice has an infection in her incision. Mike and Nikki Vilano have been having upper respiratory problems.

IN THE MILITARY

Please continue to pray for those who are serving in the military: Jason Harris (Bill & Pat Rice’s son-in-law) and Joey Stenger (Joe & Karen’s son).

 MISSION TRIP

Kyle Digiandomenico and Emily Nowakowski will be traveling to Taiwan on May 4th for a mission trip.

YOUTH MINISTER VISIT

We welcome Keaton Forsythe, who is a potential youth minster, today. In addition to a teen devotional last night and a class this morning, we look forward to him bringing this evening’s message!

 MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP

   We will gather for a fellowship meal after our evening worship time to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in May. Care group B will be in charge of set-up & clean-up. We will also be honoring Juliana and Matt Randolph.

SYMPATHY

We extend our sympathy to the family of Bruce Contos (Joe Stenger’s brother-in-law), who died last Sunday.

 ATTENDED NURSERY

We would like to begin an attended cradle roll class on Sunday morning during the worship service for ages 1-5. If you would like to volunteer to help on a rotating basis, see the shepherds.

MID OHIO VALLEY WORK CAMP

     Information for Work Camp for the teens is available in the teen room. The deadline to register is May 13th. See Brad with questions.

ELMER PARSONS YOUTH RETREAT

The Elmer Parsons Youth Retreat at Tomlinson Run State Park will be the weekend of May 15-17. If you are interested in going, see Brian Games.

LADIES BIBLE CLASS

The ladies class will be meeting at 6:30 instead of 6:00. The class should conclude around 7:30.

 COMMODIITY COLLECTION

From now until May 17 we will be collecting commodities for Potter Children’s Home. Needed items are: 30 gallon trash bags, spray & wash, bathroom tissue, bottled water, olive oil, chocolate pudding mix, and snack crackers.

MOWING GRASS

Anyone interested in mowing the grass at the building should see the shepherds.

CHRISTIAN CHRONICLE

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the back hallway for anyone interested in receiving a complimentary subscription to The Christian Chronicle (a brotherhood newspaper).

WORLD BIBLE SCHOOL PRESENTATION

     The evening of May 17th, Rick Shur from the World Bible School will be speaking about their work around the world and about local outreach opportunities.
