PRAYER CONCERNS
Dutch Isiminger, Brenda McCreary’s dad is undergoing chemo therapy. Cassie George (Terry & Jan Ehni’s niece) was to be induced last Thursday due to pregnancy complications. Bill Saunders will have his second knee replacement on July 25th at OVMC. Jimmy Thrash will be starting radiation/chemo-therapy July 29th. Jacob Walton (6 mo. old) had a stent inserted into his pulmonary artery last Wednesday.
Please continue your prayers for those for whom prayer has been requested: Gavyn Adams-Helms (a young student at St.C) is struggling through complications from surgery, Jim Bass, Charles Boger, Hobert Bunner, Bill Daley,Pat Games (Brian’s dad), Darla Gill is recovering from minor surgery, Harold Hudson (back problems), Kevin Kalany, Patricia Korpon (Ed Hirauk’s sister, complications from surgery), Jody Lewis (Kay Sowinski’s cousin), Bruce Lodge (Amber Hope’s dad) inoperable lung cancer, Bunky Loy, Liam Manning, Dustin McMillan (summer internship), Jennifer Reaggle (Danny McMillan’s neice) has been moved to a long term Nursing Home Facility, Bill Rodak, Adam Sambuco (in China), Greg Serafin (John Sowinski’s cousin),Kaylin Stafford (Kay Sowinski’s friend), Donna Sterling (Darla Yazombek’s aunt) & Michael Vilano Jr.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SUMMER SERIES
The Summer Series on Wednesday night continues this week. The theme this year is “Blessed.” Jay Rodak will be teaching “Beatitudes (Part 2)” from Matthew 5:7-12.
TEACHER NEEDED
We still need a teacher for our adult summer series. If you can teach on August 27th, see Brian Games.
SHEPHERDS, DEACONS, PREACHERS MEETING
There will be a shepherds, deacons, and preachers meeting at 4:30 on July 27th in the MP Room.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS is quickly approaching – Aug.4-8 (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.). Our theme this year is “David, A Man After God’s Own Heart.” Postcards are available on the table for sending to your friends, or if you would like the church to send them, please give the names and addresses to Joyce.
VBS OPPORTUNITIES
If you would like to donate money for needed supplies for VBS, please give it to Kathy Green.
There are two VBS sign-up sheets on the bulletin board. One is to help with set-up and tear down; the other is for adult team leaders. Your service in these areas is critical to the success of VBS. Thanks for being used by God.
CAMP CONCERN
Intermediate week (ages 11-12) campers will be leaving for camp this afternoon. Pray that God would work in their lives this week!
2-LITERS NEEDED
We are in need of two-liters of pop and other drinks for use in our fellowship meals.
HOUSE TO HOUSE, HEART TO HEART
The newest edition of the House to House, Heart to Heart publication is available on the table in the lobby and on the table across from Brad’s office. This edition includes information about our VBS, so it is a great one to share with friends, family, and neighbors.
IN SEARCH OF THE LORD’S WAY
The world is always suggesting they have something better than God’s way, but those who follow their own path usually find the way is not as easy as they thought. Thankfully, the heart of God longs for His straying children to come home.
