New requests & updates: Jim Bass fell and broke his hand. Mary Bass no longer needs oxygen support. Carol Frye will be staying with her brother while awaiting a bone marrow transplant. Ted Huntsman fractured his back again and is having a rough time with his chemo treatments. Ruth Lallathin Morrow will start treatments soon for recently diagnosed cancer. Carol Roberts (HP & Edie’s sister-in-law) had a heart attack. Carl Stonebraker’s cataract surgery went well. Eylnn Wyer (4yr old, friend of Jenna Conway) is in Columbus Children’s Hospital with severe burns.

The theme for our VBS this year is Epic: Bible Blockbuster exploring some of the exciting and dramatic stories in the Scriptures. The dates are August 6-9 from 6:30-8:30 each evening, with classes and activities for children and adults. Wednesday night will feature a condensed activity schedule, and will conclude with a short slideshow and summary of the weeks activities, followed by an ice cream social. Make plans to be here each night, and don’t forget to invite your friends & family!
V.B.S. Invitation Cards
There are VBS invitation cards on the table by the bulletin take some and invite your friends and family! We have some flyers available to post around town. We have also created a Facebook event through the church pages. It’s a great way to invite others.
V.B.S. Needs
VBS will be here before we know it, and we need all the help we can get! VBS will only be a success if everyone gets involved. We need help decorating, registering students, refreshments, team-leading, and all kinds of other things. There are always financial needs as well. If you want to help, you can sign up on the bulletin board, or see Dennie, Brad or Keaton.

After years of faithful and effective service as our office administrator and secretary, Joyce Slatt will be retiring soon. We are looking to hire someone to take over.
