UPCOMING WEDNESDAY CLASSES

A fantastic Summer Series has drawn to a close. Thank you to all the men who taught, and for Brian Games for putting it together.

We will be having some important topical studies during the next four weeks. Everyone is strongly encouraged to participate.

For the next two weeks, we will be having worship leading training class for the men in the auditorium, and a special class for the women in the multipurpose room taught by Linda Carpenter.

Beginning on September 24th, we will be studying deacons as we seek to appoint new deacons soon.

COLLEGE ADDRESSES

Please give your college students address to Joyce.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE

With the initiative of Dot Saunders, we are beginning to collect stuffed animals to donate to Children’s Services. This will be used to give a little comfort to children who experience trauma and hardship.

MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP TONIGHT

We will gather for a fellowship meal after our evening worship time to honor those with birthdays and anniversaries in August & September. Care group C will be in charge of set-up & clean-up.

YOUTH EVENTS COMING UP

The North Hills Youth Rally will be September 26-27. If you are a teen or parent of a teen, make plans to come. We will need drivers and chaperones.  The deadline to register is September 14th.

Mark your calendars for November 14th-16th for Fall Retreat. It’ll be here before you know it!

WORSHIP AT FOREST HILLS

Next Sunday, September 14th at 2:30, we have the awesome opportunity to lead the residents of Forest Hills nursing home in a short worship service. We always need help (both to lead worship and to encourage the residents).

 BULLETIN BOARD

There are several flyers advertising events from other area congregations on the bulletin board by the water fountain in the lobby. Be sure to take a look to see what’s posted.

 BIBLE CLASSES

On Sunday mornings at 9am and Wednesday nights at 7pm we have Bible classes for adults and children of all ages. These classes are a great opportunity for you and your family to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God’s word. We hope you’ll join us!
