PRAYER CONCERNS

Julie Beazel (Karen Miller’s daughter), is in EORH ICU with blood clots in both lungs.   Clyde Carpenter had outpatient surgery on Thursday in preparation for back surgery in the near future.

IN THE MILITARY

WEDDING SHOWER

The money card wedding shower for Justin & Rebecca Gallagher will be in conjunction with our September Fellowship. You may give your money to Linda Gooch or Joyce Slatt.

ATTENDED NURSERY

We need volunteers for the attended nursery during our Sunday morning worship gathering. If we have enough volunteers, it will only be a commitment for one Sunday morning every other month. This is an important ministry to help serve families with young children.

JUNIOR YOUTH RALLY

The Whitehall Junior Youth Rally is Saturday, Sept. 12th for ages 8-11. Cost is FREE! To register or help chaperone, please see Keaton.

PROMOTION SUNDAY

     Sunday, September 6th will be promotion day for our Kid’s Ministry. All those moving up to a new class will do so on September 6th.

NORTH HILLS YOUTH RALLY

The North Hills Youth Rally will be September 25th-26th. To register or help chaperone, see Keaton.

MINISTRY MEETING

   There will be a ministry meeting for the shepherds, deacons, and preachers this afternoon at 4:30pm in the MP Room.

SCHOOL STARTING

Classes are beginning for another school year. Please remember to pray for all the students, teachers, and aides who are beginning or returning to school this fall. Especially remember all the new college students.

GLEANER CANS

The gleaner cans for Potter Children’s are due back Oct. 21st. If you have any that are full or beginning to fill up, please bring them in and give them to Brad. There are still more cans for those who want to continue to collect.

BUILDING FUND CONTRIBUTION

Next Sunday is a fifth Sunday, which means our contribution will go toward the new building project.

COLLECTING SHOES, CARDS & PILLOWCASES

Thanks to everyone who brought shoes to help the boy with Muscular Dystrophy get a much needed wheel chair accessible van.

Dot Saunders and Alicia Estadt are also collecting homemade pillowcases and Christmas cards for Liza’s Place and local nursing homes. Please see Dot or Alicia for more information.
