HOW ALIVE ARE YOU?

The Joy of Jesus in John’s Gospel

We are excited to welcome Brad Poe this week! For the next four days, we have the special privilege of hearing Brad bring the Scriptures to us. Brad has a unique gift of helping us meditate on and dwell in the Scriptures. As we journey toward joy through John’s Gospel, we will be blessed, challenged, and encouraged. We hope you’ll make time to be with us for each of our meetings this week!

Brad Poe is the Pulpit Minister for the Rome Church of Christ in Proctorville, Ohio. He has served with churches in Gainesville & Orlando, Florida and Dayton, OH. He and his wife Becky have 2 daughters, Sydney and Lauren, at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Brad is a 1989 graduate of Ohio Valley University (BA in Bible), a 2009 graduate of Cincinnati Bible Seminary (MAR in Biblical Studies) and is currently in the MAC program at Marshall University Graduate College.

HOW ALIVE ARE YOU?

Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10) Unbelievers try to gratify appetites of the soul by dining from the world’s menu. Some Christians tend to settle for a less-than-full spiritual experience. Both should meet Jesus in John and ask themselves, “Just how alive am I, anyway?”
