VBS Planning: There will be a VBS meeting next Sunday at 4:30. VBS this year will be August 5-8 from 6-8pm each night, with an ice cream social on Wednesday. It will be here before we know it, and there is a lot of work to be done to help make VBS a success. We want to help a generation of kids grow to love and serve Jesus, and we need your help! We have several people in charge of various areas (like decorating, creative programing, registration, etc), but we need volunteers to help. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. Sign up for the areas in which you will serve. Remember VBS will only be a success if we work together!
Thursday Night Devotionals: The next #TND will be Thursday, June 28th at the Schrums’ house. Bring a chair, your Bible, and a friend!
Hot Dog Roast: Tonight after evening services, there will be a bonfire behind the building. Come with your chairs, hot dogs and all the supplies you need to roast some hotdogs and marshmallows. We will have a great time of fellowship together!
Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp: Thanks to everyone who participated in and prayed for Work Camp last week. Our students and students from all over the region partnered together to paint 25 houses. This was the 20th year of Work Camp, and they have completed 625 houses over the years!
Fellowship Meal: We will have a fellowship meal following evening services next Sunday night. Care Group C is in charge of set-up and clean up.
Building Development: Today, our shepherds are challenging us to give over and above our normal contribution to help cover the cost of paving the upper portion of our entrance and parking lot.
Money Tree: We will be putting together a money tree for Emily Nowakowski and Curt Smelly to celebrate their upcoming marriage. We will present it to them during our July Fellowship. You can give money to Lisa Johnson or Sally McDiffitt.
Missional Habits: On Wednesday nights we have been studying missional habits. Don’t forget to bless 3 people, and eat with 3 people this week, and don’t forget to spend one period of time listening to the Holy Spirit.
Ministry Meeting: There will be a ministry meeting for the shepherds & deacons today at 4:30.
College Class: We are beginning a class for college-age students on Sunday mornings in the conference room.
Out of Town: Brad is preaching today at the Morgantown Church of Christ. He plans to be back this evening.
