March’s Scripture!

This passage has always been mesmerizing and mind numbing to me. I try my best to imagine what Jesus would do in life circumstances and do it. I try to ask God to act through prayer. I think, “What does God have in mind for me to do in helping to sow and water His Kingdom?”

But the truth is, when it comes to God’s might, plans, and creativity, if I can think or imagine or ask it, God can always do better. Perhaps our praying, “Your will be done,” ought to not only be a sign of our submission to God. Perhaps it ought to also be our open acknowledgement that we can not ask, think, or imagine the goodness God is capable of, but we want it!

God bless you as you spend time focusing on this passage. May it move deeply in your mind and life as only He can imagine.

For March:

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV)
