Prayer Requests & Updates
New Requests & Updates: Rae Ann Beatty (Bill & Pat Rice’s daughter) is
now home recuperating. Ruth Borovich, Tina Hayes’ mother recently fell and
broke her right hip. Josephine Nestor (Greg Nestor’s Grandmother) is in East
Ohio Regional Hospital with pneumonia. Erin Shankle (Jerry & Pam Moore’s
daughter) had melanoma cancer on her back removed. The surgeon thinks
he got it all and no further treatments are needed. Judy McMillan is home
and doing well. Luretta Warrick has carpal tunnel and is in a lot of pain. She will have surgery at a
later date.

News & Information
Trunk-Or-Treat
We will be having a Trunk-or-Treat on
October 30th from 6-8pm. There is a
sign up sheet on the bulletin. If you
want to decorate your trunk or can
bring finger foods, snacks, or drinks for
a fellowship, please sign up on the
bulletin board. If you have questions,
see Amy Higgins.
Fall Retreat
The student ministry will be hosting the
annual Fall Retreat for Jr. High and
High School students on November
9-11 at Grand Vue Park in Moundsville.
If you are a student, make plans to
attend. If you can serve as a
chaperone, please see Keaton.
College Student Addresses
If you or someone in your family is a
college student, please give the office
your name, address, and the school
you are attending. We need addresses
for students attending locally and
those away from home.
Ministry Meeting
There will be a ministry meeting for the
shepherds, deacons, and ministers
today at 4:30 in the conference room.
Ladies Class
The Ladies Class will continue this
Tuesday evening in the Fireside Room.
The October 30th class is cancelled
due to Trunk-or-Treat.
Blankets Moved
The blankets for use in the auditorium
have been moved to inside the buffet
table in the back hallway.
Family & Parent Class
Don’t forget about our family and
parenting class for all young adults and
young families. It meets on Sunday
mornings at 9am in the Fireside Room.
Service Change
Our Wednesday night service on
October 31st will be moved to
Thursday, November 1st. Please mark
your calendars. Take time to be a light
in your neighborhood for community
events on the 31st.
Out Of Town
Keaton Forsythe has been out of town
this weekend speaking at a retreat. He
plans to be back in the office on
Tuesday.
Stepping Stones
The Wheeling chapter of Stepping
Stones for Ohio Valley University is
making a comeback and our ladies are
invited to be apart of it! They will be
conducting their first meeting at the
National Road Church of Christ in
Wheeling on Monday, October 22nd at
7:00 pm. Please join them as they take
time to fellowship, review recent
fundraisers as well as those that are
coming up and pray for the university.
