Prayer Requests & Updates

New requests and updates: Jim Bass fell last Saturday. He is stoved up
and in a lot of pain. Caleb Hayes has been diagnosed with abdominal
migraines. Elsie Isiminger (Brenda McCreary’s mother) is now at home under
hospice care. Warren Lallathin (Janet Lallathin’s Dad) is having a procedure
tomorrow (Oct 8th) in Zanesville to fix his recurrent urinary tract obstruction
and to check his bladder. Joan Wallner is in Wheeling Hospital. She is
unable to swallow and not doing well.

News & Information

Congratulations
Congratulations to Travis and Molly
Wade (and Cindy and Bob)! June
Sophia Wade was born on October
2nd. She weighed 6 lbs. 10 oz, and
measured 19 ¼ inches. Everyone is
doing well!

Fellowship Dinner
This evening following our evening
service, we will have a fellowship meal
to honor those with birthdays and
anniversaries in October. Care Group C
is in charge of set-up and clean up.
Make plans to join us!

Service Change
Our Wednesday night service on
October 31st will be moved to
Thursday, November 1st. Please mark
your calendars.

Trunk-Or-Treat
We will be having a Trunk-or-Treat on
October 30th from 6-8pm. If you’d like
to help make plans for the event, see
Amy Higgins.

Hot Dog Roast
We will have a hotdog roast next
Sunday evening following evening
services. Bring chairs, hot dogs,
roasting sticks, and anything else you
might need for some campfire fun.

College Student Addresses
If you or someone in your family is a
college student, please give the office
your name, address, and the school
you are attending. We need addresses
for students attending locally and
those away from home.

Graduate School
Keaton has been in Nashville this week
for his graduate school classes and
some doctor appointments. He will be
back on Wednesday.

Wednesday Night Classes
On Wednesday nights, we offer classes
for all ages at 7 pm. Our kid’s ministry
has classes for each age group in the
classroom wing. The adults meet in the
auditorium to study the Scriptures
together. Wednesday nights are a great
way to get engaged with the church
family and grow in your faith. If you
haven’t already, make plans to join us
on Wednesdays at 7 pm.

Ladies Class
The Ladies Class will continue this
Tuesday evening in the Fireside Room.
They are studying “Satan’s Tactics—
The War for our Hearts and Souls.”

Fall Retreat
The student ministry will be hosting the
annual Fall Retreat for Jr. High and
High School students on November
9-11 at Grandvue Park in Moundsville.
If you are a student, make plans to
attend. If you can serve as a
chaperone, please see Keaton.
