New requests and updates: Jodi Vickers is suffering from migraines. Bill Saunders had his carotid arteries cleaned. Sue Biesel had her other cataract removed and was having some vision issues. Judy Beal (Ed Hirauk’s sister) is in Harrison Community Hospital.

Summer Series: We are continuing our summer series in our Wednesday night Bible class. This is a great opportunity to get involved in deeper Bible study with your church family as we talk about who we are as a church, and why we believe what we believe. Make plans to join us! Invite your friends to come learn with us, too!
Ladies Class: The Ladies Class will resume for the fall on Tuesday, September 11. They have chosen to study from the book “Satan’s Tactics—The War for our Hearts and Souls.”
Appreciation Day: We are planning an appreciation day for next Sunday. We want to honor God for his faithfulness and show our appreciation for all the hard work that has been done this summer. We will be having a fellowship lunch after morning service. Rotisserie chicken will be provided. Other sides and desserts will be pot-luck style. Make plans to be there and invite your friends!
Sympathy: We extend our sympathy to Pam Moore and family in the death of her son, Jim Butterworth, who passed away on September 2nd. His memorial service was held this past Thursday. Please keep Pam and her family in your prayers.
